Help Desk Technician – Central Oregon
OVERVIEW:
The Help Desk Technician assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology. Support also includes specifications, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals. The Help Desk Technician may also assist in the maintenance and testing of other associated technology equipment, as needs arise.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience supporting computer systems in maintenance, hardware and software installation and upgrades
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
