Technology Operations Supervisor
Help Desk Technician – Central Oregon
OVERVIEW:
The Help Desk Technician assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology. Support also includes specifications, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals. The Help Desk Technician may also assist in the maintenance and testing of other associated technology equipment, as needs arise.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience supporting computer systems in maintenance, hardware and software installation and upgrades
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems
• Microsoft Office applications knowledge
• Microsoft Windows technologies knowledge
• Client-server concepts
• Basic networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching, firewalls, etc.)
• Hardware setup and configuration

MSI – Network Engineer

You will have primary responsibility for integrating and delivering a wide range of technology solutions to the client. In addition, this position provides pre-sales support, customer support and direct quality assurance for all projects assigned.
Your toolset should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems preferred and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of technical pre-sales support experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands on experience with Networking product preferred.
- Previous consulting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of project estimation and scoping experience preferred.
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification required or must be acquired within 3 mos. of hire date.
- Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certifications required or must be acquired within 4 mos. of hire date.
- Basic understanding of various types of Telecom equipment such as CSU/DSUs, Frads, multiplexers, channel banks, etc.
- Basic knowledge of various WAN technologies to include analog and digital circuits, X.25, frame relay, ATM, T-1, DS3, etc.
- Certified AIX User certification or other UNIX certification.
- Ability to perform base network installation and configuration services.
- Knowledge of vendor supplied brands.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication.
- Ability to travel 25-30% of time
