Tech Alliance of Central Oregon: http://techallianceco.org
The Tech Alliance represents the interests of member businesses and user groups in promoting and providing support to the growing Central Oregon technology community. Run by a volunteer Board of Directors from local tech and business leaders in the Central Oregon area, the Alliance continues to build and support local growth by building and supporting activities like TechSpace Bend, the UnConference, monthly social and professional events and small business workshops.
User Groups
COISUG – Central Oregon Information Systems User Group
COISUG is an Information Systems user group based out of Bend Oregon and serving the greater Central Oregon region. Our goal is to provide a forum where IT professionals can come together, share experiences, ask questions, and network. Our specific focus is on systems, hardware, storage, and networking.
COWPU – Central Oregon Web Professionals User Group
Central Oregon Web Professionals’ Usergroup (COWPU) was formed in October 2006. Recognizing that there was no general forum for professionals in the web industry, the first gathering was a “meet and greet”. Our members now include developers, designers, SEO professionals, hobbyists, and marketers. Python, RoR, Coldfusion, mySQL, and PERL are just a few of the technologies used by our members.

BendUG is a small group of people with interests in Free/Libre Open Source unix-like operating systems.
COGIS (Central Oregon GIS Users Group)
COGIS, the largest GIS users network on the East side of the Cascades, is part of a larger organization called the Oregon & SW Washington URISA (Urban & Regional Information Systems Association) which itself is part of an international GIS organization. COGIS has been in existence for about 14 years, maintaining an email distribution list of about 150 members and meeting on a quarterly basis to share knowledge, ideas, and demonstrations in GIS. Members range from professionals to hobbyists.

COMUG (Central Oregon Macintosh Users Group)
The local Mac user group.

BendTech – Bend Tech
The primary mission of BendTech is to provide the online and offline resources and infrastructure for the technical professionals and community in Central Oregon so that we can build, develop, and grow the technology industry across the region.
