Chris Avis from Microsoft will be here this Wednesday 5/14/08 at 12:00PM to host a Microsoft training on Windows Server 2008 and more, so don’t miss out! As always, giveaways, snacks and sodas.

A couple of people have mentioned that the current meeting time makes it a bit difficult to attend. No worries, we get started around 1:30pm, but feel free to drop in at 2:00 or 2:30 for that matter. We just need to keep up the great attendance to insure vendor support.

Updates: Jobs, Meeting April 16, Books

We have a couple of new jobs posted, check them out. Both jobs are with Eleven Wireless out of Portland. One is for a Technical Operations Manager and the other, CEO.
The next meeting is coming up on April 16th – put it on your calendar! We are putting book orders in today, 3/24/2008, so send in your orders.

Meeting today with Oracle

Meeting is today at 1:30 with Oracle. Oracle is very excited to be here and has prepared a great presentation that will appeal to all experience levels. Don’t miss this great opportunity to interact with Oracle one on one.
Special Guest: Due to the interest in Mobile Devices, Evan Erickson (Product and Inventory Manager) from Edge Wireless is going to stop by and talk about some of the available Mobile devices currently available in the Market place. What he likes, dislikes and recommends.

Software Tools and Events Calendar

We have made a few updates to the site. The first update is a section dedicated to Software and Tools that we find very useful. Need a tool? Look here first. You will find software ranging from Open Source Ticket Tracking Systems and Network Monitoring tools to VOIP PBX’s and Remote Management suites. We hope that this list continues to grow so please submit your favorite tools. The second update is a Local Events Calendar that will give you a quick look into other events that are happening in the area. If you know of an event, send it in.
