Time to kick it up into high gear – we have 2 meetings lined up for August and September, and a couple in the planning stages for October/November.

The first meeting will be Thursday August 12th and split across two topics – Bend Broadband’s new Green Data center (Part 1) and new developments in the Open Source Arena (Part 2). Bend Broadband will have their Data Center consultant present to talk about the DC and to field questions – design, build and what makes a green data center. In Part 2, Mark Turner will be presenting on some new developments in the Open Source arena. This is a new “special topics” format to be hosted at TechSpace Bend.

Results are in! The second meeting is on Desktop Virtualization and hosted by Structured. Structured is on top of their game in Desktop Virtualization and will have an expert onsite to dig deep into this topic. This will be the traditional format hosted at McMenamins Old St. Francais School, Rambler Room – lunch, giveaways etc.
